We want to make sure you get all the support you need.
Please speak to the receptionist for more information.
Change to how you can make an appointment:
In an attempt to make our appointment booking system fair to all our patients, including those who work or cannot physically visit the surgery at 8.00am to queue for an appointment, we are changing how we make appointments.
As from 4/3/2019, between 8.00am-9.00am appointments may only be made by telephone. We will not be making appointments face to face at reception.
From 9.00am onwards, patients may visit reception to make an appointment.
This is in response to increasing amount of feedback from our patients and to give all patients an equal opportunity to make an appointment.
This has been discussed and agreed with members of the Hartshill Medical Centre Patient Participation Group

New Surgery: New Name
We have changed the name of our surgery to mark the start of a new chapter in the healthcare of the residents of Hartshill and surrounding area: Hartshill Medical Centre
Car Park
A reminder that there is a one-way traffic system in place at the surgery. Entry to the site is via Ashwell Road and exit is via the barrier leading to Hartshill Road, for which you will need a token from reception. This was part of the Highways plan to reduce the amount of traffic and congestion on Ashwell Road and felt to be a safer option.
A Change of Face at Hartshill Medical CentreAfter 25 years as a GP in Hartshill I have decided to retire at the end of October 2013. This has not been an easy decision to come to but after a lot of thought now seems to be the right time. I have had a most enjoyable and satisfying time here and have met many wonderful people who will remain in my memory forever.
It is my pleasure to introduce Dr Milan Mehta as my successor.
Milan has been working as a locum in the Midlands for some time and many of you will know him already. He is an excellent and conscientious Doctor and after recently marrying has decided to settle here in Stoke-on-Trent.
With the recent move to new premises and this excellent appointment I am confident the Practice will continue to grow and provide a high quality service in the future.
Best wishes to you all
Dr Andrew Dent
